This was half a book, a quarter of a book. It barely starts when it's done and now you have to buy the next book. Not worth paying for 100 pages of nothing. Usually a series can stand on its own, these books can not.

Another fun read by Julia Kent! Julia has once again brought humor to her sexy stories as two people deal with the trials and tribulations of a relationship. Her writing really helps you picture the scenes in your head and make you laugh. The characters are imperfect and although most of us can't relate to what it would be like to be a billionaire (or millionaire for that matter), her characters deal with issues we CAN relate to - and adds humor to their struggles. Will read again...great for reading at the beach or by the pool!
Very well written and edited. This is not a stand-alone book. There is sort of a a cliffhanger.

This is another hilarious installment in the series. As with the first book, the dialog is snappy and smart and so funny I again had tears running down my face. I rated this four stars, rather than five, as I did with the first book because for me, this definitely ended with more of a cliffhanger. The first book at least took us through most of the first date. This installment doesn't really wrap up any of the plot points.

That said, this installment was still seriously funny. So even though serial-style stories generally irritate me, I'll be finishing this series.

Highly recommended for anyone who likes romantic comedy -- or any comedy
Shopping for a Billionaire 2 is more comedy than romance. At just over 100 pages, the book is charming, but not that romantic, and you kinda need the previous volume to get more out of this one.

Shannon and Declan explore their relationship (and each other) while she and her company got company cars that should not be allowed out in public... i.e. they are wraps with fiberglass roof displays (think the Red Bull jeep, but much much worse looking). And one of them featured Shanon's mother ("I am so **NOT** driving that one!")

As in the previous volume, the jokes just come rapid-fire non-stop but it's not very romantic, IMHO.
Not a book. This is a couple chapters of a book. Writer doesn't tell you that at the beginning. You find out when it ends, leaving you in limbo and it's pay me for more. Julia Kent is a DO NOT BUY for me.
I loved Shopping for a Billionaire part two. It was just as funny and wonderful as part one. My face hurts from smiling so much.
Shannon has had pretty crazy week. One filled with texts from a jealous ex-boyfriend that just won’t leave Shannon alone. Add to that the surprise company perk she just got and Shannon is ready for the week to end. Then she can finally do the one thing she is looking forward to...going on her date with Declan.

*This story does end in cliffhanger but you don’t have to wait for the next books to come out and there is also a boxset available for books 1-5.
Ok, the first one was cute with a little too much involvement from her crazy family (ahem, mom) but kept me reading to finally see what happened between Shannon and Declan ... But now I'm annoyed! Unfortunately I already purchased the next ones or I'd stop reading now. There is just waaaay too much "witty" commentary & I put witty in quotes because I think we are supposed to think how funny & witty this is written, but it's over the top. I'm having a hard time continuing to like the main female character because she allows all this stupidity to go on around her instead of taking charge of the...her situation. It's not believable, not how zany her life us, or how Declan likes her so much when she's only said like 5 words to him, & somebody shut her mother up! Please hope with me the next one isn't as bad a read & i don't have to skip over her going on about how funny something is!
Shopping for a Billionaire 2 was laugh out loud funny as the first one was. Book two was better to me because I'm now more familiar with the characters and especially Shannon. She's high octane fun with hilarious come-backs. I thought the part of the story where she went back and forth with her mother and father was pretty funny.

Julia Kent is a fun author and this series keeps getting better.

Tanya Eby IS Shannon in these stories. She's got what it takes to voice this character and others flawlessly. I truly enjoy her work.
