Was a wonderful story if you are in to the whole Fae thing...Which I am. Add to it the element of scottish Highlanders and you have a truely good book. I found myself carring the book with me everywhere just so I could get a little further in the story. Is a remarkable read that I sat up til wee hours of the night trying to finish because I was so caught up.

The only down side I have is Aiden and Seryna. I know that is harsh because they are the main characters. Aiden is a great hero but is very flawed. He is to mean in matters of the heart and Seryna is way to forgiving. I was crying and burned with humiliation for her and was disgusted with Aiden in alot of the book. I wish Seryna had more conviction. Instead she is kinda like a doormat for Aiden in the begining of the story, although she does grow confident in the middle she is way to forgiving.

All in all it was a great read and would recommend it to anyone who love Highlander. Just tell yourself through out the book that it is a love story and will have a happy ending.

Enjoyed the Lord of the Isles series very much. Recommend those that love such type of romance/history novels read. I recommend.
I really enjoyed Lord of the Isles and couldn't wait for the next book in the series. This book, however, was a bit disappointing. I found the whole plot with Syrena tough to follow and then to believe... as if that is possible with paranormal. However, there are still "paranormal" rules and this story just seemed all over the place. I love paranormal books, I love historical romance books, and I love highland romance books... this one couldn't decide what it wanted to be and didn't do a very good job.
This was actually a pretty good book. It had parts that I got frustrated with. It seemed to move a little slow, but it had a couple of good twists at the end that left me smiling.
This book cracks me up every time I read it - and I have read it numerous times. Imagine time travel back to the old days. Where can I get my ticket??

What a nice book I think I will go on to the next one . I like all the books about fae and this one is good. If you like books about the highlands you should listen to this one on audio because the reader is really great. So enjoy the read and if you get the chance listen to it too!
I absolutely loved this book, which is part of a trilogy. Syrena and Aidan's journey together is filled with adventure and excitement throughout. I loved the interweaving of the fae and human realms. Debbie Mazucca is an awesome author and I would definitely recommend reading this book and the other two titles that are part of the trilogy.
